Jonathan Van Ness, one of the beloved stars of Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot, recently came out as HIV positive.
The 32-year-old reality star confessed about his health condition in an interview with The New York Times ahead of the release of his memoir Over The Top. “I’ve had nightmares every night for the past three months because I’m scared to be this vulnerable with people,” Jonathan told the outlet, adding, “There are issues that need to be talked about.”
Jonathan said that he found out he was HIV positive at the age of 25 after he fainted while working with a client.
“That day was just as devastating as you would think it would be,” he wrote in his book.
