We're all trying to find balance, says Angelina Jolie
On the outside, it may look like Angelina Jolie’s life is one of comfort and full of luxuries. But according to a report published on DailyMail.co.uk, the 42-year-old Oscar winner is like most moms in the world who juggle a career and kids. “We’re all trying to find balance,” said the mother-of-six.
When asked how she balances it all, the Salt actress said: “I think that’s life, isn’t it? You have your creative side, and you have your work, and every day of your life is going to be about somehow growing as a person. I think to be a balanced person, you have to find those things that you just purely enjoy.”
Jolie also spoke about her upcoming film, The Breadwinner, which she has co-produced. The film has also been nominated for an Oscar. Based on a best-selling novel by Deborah Ellis, The Breadwinner tells the story of Parvana, a young Afghan girl whose father is sent to prison, and must then dress as a boy to provide for her family.
Jolie, who shares a close bond with the film’s director, Nora Twomey, mentions, “Nora and I, when alone, we spend most of our time just talking about being moms.”
