The 2020 Grammy Nominations were announced on November 20, and Ariana Grande’s been nominated for five awards, including Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
She expressed how excited she is about the award, and then some more!
In response to the Recording Academy’s congratulatory tweet, says Eonline, Ariana said in a now deleted tweet, “Be sure to have an ambulance and lots of cliquot on standby.”
Clearly, the Thank U, Next singer isn’t over her recent sickness. Luckily, the Grammys aren’t for a few more months!
Readers might remember that Ariana, who’s currently on the road for her Sweetener Tour, had to cancel a recent show due to sickness, focusing on getting back to 100 percent.
But Ariana did thank her collaborators and fans via social media after her nomination announcements, even thanking Recording Academy for the honour. “crying. moved and honored. thank u @RecordingAcad,” she wrote soon after the news was released.
