Taylor Swift gets a small legal victory
Singer Taylor Swift scored a small victory in a legal battle over a 2013 incident involving a radio DJ , David Mueller, groping her during a meet-and-greet in Denver.
People.com reports that on Wednesday a federal judge, William Martinez, sanctioned the former Denver radio host for destroying multiple electronic devices containing key evidence in the case, which will allow Swift’s lawyers to question some of Mueller’s suspicious actions.
Mueller sued Swift in September 2015 claiming the pop star cost him his job after she accused him of groping her.
Reportedly, the judge said he could have levelled harsher sanctions against David Mueller including striking part of the evidence, if concluded that Mueller intentionally destroyed the devices or couldn’t locate them.
