Cardi B’s I like It is topping the Billboard charts. But that is not the only reason she wants to celebrate. The Bodak Yellow rapper with her fiance Migos’ Offset opens up about their relationship and how they are preparing for their daughter in Rolling stone’s latest July cover story, reports People.com
“I want a lit baby shower. My baby shower’s not starting at no 5:00. My sh** is going to start at 9 p.m. because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate. I don’t like baby showers that be at 5 p.m. in the backyard, eating, cooking hors d’oeuvres. Nah, S***, I might even drink some red wine. Red wine’s healthy, right?” she told the magazine.
Cardi B has been posting Instagram stories about the gifts that she would like her guests to get for the baby shower. She recently put up pictures of strollers that she specifically wanted people to gift her.
She also opened up about how Offset took to the news of her pregnancy. “He was like, ‘What? Are you sure?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ And then he just started smiling really hard. He said, ‘What do you mean, what are you going to do? You’re going to keep it’.” Let’s hope the rapper gets the ‘lit’ baby shower that she is hoping for!
