We’ve heard of celebrities buying large mansions at exotic places but have we heard of a celeb owning a church? Well, now we have. TMZ.com reports that Beyoncé recently bought a stone structured, 7,500 sq. ft house of God in New Orleans. The church is more than 100 years old and was listed at $850,000, but it is unclear if she got a discount.
Sources say that the church was built in the early 1900s, but has been out of commission as a place of worship for some time due to its church members passing away.
Looks like the church could finally be revived, now that Queen Bey has taken it up.
