Actor and singer David Cassidy, known for his role as Keith Partridge in the TV series The Partridge Family, revealed that his recent fall from on stage was not because he was drunk, but because he is suffering from dementia. David told People that he’s fighting the disease, that runs in his family, saying, “I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming... I want to focus on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions. I want to love. I want to enjoy life.” The actor, who also battled alcoholism in the past few years, said he would be quitting music to focus on his health.
