Demi Lovato set the stage on fire as she sang Sorry Not Sorry during the American Music Awards on Sunday. According to HollywoodReporter.com, the singer began her performance sitting in the audience, watching the screen show hateful comments directed at her on Twitter. While some comments called her fat, some others called her a b**ch.
“There’s so much hate in this world. We have to rise up and never say sorry for who you are,” Lovato proudly said. Lovato previously quit social media due to trolls. Meanwhile, Lovato’s date at the AMAs was the first openly transgender Virginia state legislator Danica Roem.
