Garry Marshall has passed away at the age of 81 at a hospital in California, it was reported on JustJared.com. The legendary filmmaker died at five pm on July 19 due to complications from pneumonia followed by a stroke.
Garry created television series such as Happy Days, Mork & Mindy, and Laverne and Shirley. He started directing movies in the 1980s and some of his biggest hits include Beaches, Pretty Woman, The Princess Diaries, Runaway Bride, and Raising Helen.
In recent years, he created movies such as Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve, and Mother’s Day this year.
