An editor with a website, Milo Yiannopoulos, known as @nerohas, has been banned from Twitter after his comments on Leslie and his account will not be restored.
Twitter said he had broken its rules “prohibiting participating in or inciting targeted abuse of individuals”.
Jones sent tweets blaming Leslie for Aids and compared her to a gorilla. On Monday, Leslie shared some of the offensive messages she had received, said BBC.com.
