Editor Angelina Jolie stuns her fans

Her role as a philanthropist thus, has a great influence on her writing approach.

After juggling her role as an actor, mother, producer and a philanthropist Angelina Jolie adds another feather to her cap.

The Salt actress will now take on the role of contributing editor for Time magazine.

The Magazine’s editor-in-chief and CEO Edward Felsenthal made the announcement on Wednesday about the Oscar winner’s association with their magazine.

True to her real life personality Jolie will be managing topics such as, displacement, conflict and human rights.

As confirmed by www.eonline.com Jolie’s served as Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since 2012. Jolie has in the past written for the Time magazine before penning a piece about women’s role in promoting peace in Afghanistan.

In her very first piece for the magazine as an editor, “Angelina Jolie: What We Owe Refugees” Jolie pens down the struggles refugees face.

She explains how the difference between refugees and migrants has become blurred. “Some leaders deliberately use the terms refugee and migrant interchangeably, using hostile rhetoric that whips up fear against all outsiders,” Jolie writes.

Her role as a philanthropist thus, has a great influence on her writing approach.
