Television show producer Aaron Sorkin has broken many dreams by going on record to say that the television series The Newsroom will not be coming back for the next season anytime soon.
Actor Olivia Munn, who stars in the show had earlier sparked the rumour of the show’s return by saying that she along with co-stars have been talking to the Aaron to come back with the show on the small screen.
Olivia had said, “He (Aaron) is very busy, but we have very high hopes that it would be able to come together, hopefully. There’s been so much that has happened in the news and in media that we could really speak on, and it’d really be interesting to see what his take would be on it and what The Newsroom would do today.”
However, according to Justjared.com, Aaron killed all hopes on a chat show.
When enquired about a new season of the show, he said, “I wish the show was on air now. I would love to be writing it now. But there are other things coming up. I’ve no plans to return to anything I’ve done.”
