Actor and model Jaden Smith, 18, recently spoke with Nylon Magazine about why he chooses to wear gender non-conforming clothing on occasion.
Jaden is the magazine’s first male cover star and in his interview he shares, “So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him.”
Jaden, who is the son of actor Will Smith, is known for wearing skirts over leggings and choosing to slip into a dress instead of pants without a second thought.
He recently took to Instagram to claim that real men wear pink. He posted a photograph of himself wearing a pink tee.
