British soap opera Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan, in a candid interview with The Sun, has revealed that that she has taken back control of her relationship with Mark Wright by keeping her marriage private.
Addressing the rumours that she has had loads of work done since her first role as Tina McIntyre in 2008 film Coronation Street, the 31-year-old actress said that she doesn’t feel like giving up after deciding not to post snaps of her and Mark’s private life on social media.
She said, “We get that we are in the public eye and have a public relationship, but we are normal people at the end of the day, and we don’t need to give all of ourselves up. I feel like we have regained control and now we don’t read anything in the news anyway. If someone asks if I’ve seen a story, I literally haven’t. A few years ago I would have read it and it would have really upset me and panicked me a bit. Now, honestly, I don’t care.”
Michelle and Mark had a long-distance relationship while he filmed for Extra in Los Angeles while she lived and worked in the UK.
However Mark has recently moved back to the UK, much to the joy of Michelle who has been sharing their day-to-day life on social media.
