Travis Scott to pay for ditching event

Scott will have to shell out huge amounts for ditching the Super Bowl gig in March 2018.

Rapper Travis Scott will have to shell out huge amounts for ditching the Super Bowl gig in March 2018. In a case filed by Super Bowl events company PJAM, the court has ruled in their favour and asked Scott to pay $382,932.79, reports TMZ.com.

Travis’ attorney, Howard King, says, “The jury verdict of $383k is disappointing, but far less than the seven figure demands made by the promoters. We believe the verdict will be substantially reduced or overturned in subsequent proceedings.”

PJAM claimed it paid Travis $150k and gave him a private jet. But then, hours before the show, he backed out.

While Scott had explained his absence from the event due to weather and logistics, the events company had slammed this as an excuse.
