Country singer Blake Shelton seemingly took a pot shot at a tabloid while he was on stage playing at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale in Florida, taking a sip from a cup that read “I read, get over it”. According to TMZ.com, Blake had recently filed a defamation suit against In Touch for publishing a story about him hitting “rock bottom” and going to rehab.
The magazine responded by saying that they were reporting on his “proudly created” hard drinking image which came through his tweets, one of which reads, “Woah! Almost 11 am. Can’t believe I’m up so early. This calls for a drink.”
