During a concert on his 4:44 tour, Jay-Z halted his show at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, on Saturday night to bring up fan Christina Cruz, who got some attention in the crowd when she held up a sparkly sign that stated that she had beaten cancer two times.
The musician couldn’t help but stop the concert for a short while to speak to the woman. He read aloud the sign that said, ‘I Beat Cancer 2X 2 C U! I LOVE U!!! SELFIE OR HUG?’
The father of three said to the woman, “You beat cancer twice I gotta give you at least a hug,” and even brought her on to the stage for the huge crowd to see her sign. Elated, Christina hugged the star and even got to have a brief chat with him in stage.
She took to her social media after to post images from the night and wrote, “I can’t believe he pulled me on stage and I got to hug him not once but twice!!! Truly a dream come true!! Thank you Jay-Z!!!! (sic).”
