The Mindy Project actress Mindy Kaling is expecting her first child, sources confirm to People.com. However, the 38-year-old star’s representatives denied to give further information. An insider told E! News that it was “an unexpected surprise”.
The actress, in her 2015 book Why Not Me?, wrote about motherhood. Mindy said, “I will never have a husband and all my female acquaintances will. What if my kids are really young when I die because I waited too long to have them?” “I think I’ve decided that unlike everything else in my life, I’m going to be fast and loose about kids. I’m going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen,” Mindy told Yahoo! Style earlier.
