Elton John loses privacy battle

After four months of trying to keep his sexual harassment case details private, Sir Elton John has lost his court battle with the London Employment Appeal Tribunal, with details of the case now said to be available to the public to be reported about. But Elton wanted the details of the case to remain private, and so filed a petition with the Central Central London Employment Tribunal and then the London Employment Appeal Tribunal, both of whom denied his application. Elton was said to have paid a six-figure sum to the former employee he settled with, who later withdrew the charged against him.
