Celebrities including Jimmy Kimmel, Nolan Gould, Timothy Olyphant and Laura Dern contributed to the 10th Annual L.A. Loves Alex’s Lemonade event as a part of the Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
“Alex’s Lemonade fund research, they help families, they do so many important things. They’ve saved a lot of lives and saved people from the worst nightmare that anyone could imagine,” shared Jimmy exclusively with E!News, says Eonline.
Jimmy, for one, has definitely witnessed a similar nightmare from up close. Back in May 2017, his wife Molly McNearney had delivered their baby boy, named William. In one of his later shows, Jimmy had spoken about the heart disease his son was born with, one that required open heart surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The weekend event raised more than $1.2 mn for cancer research.
