Michael Jackson wanted to marry Potter child star, 11
London: The late Michael Jackson’s personal doctor Dr Conrad Murray — the man blamed for the singer’s death in 2011 — has claimed his client wanted to marry Harry Potter actress Emma Watson. Watson was 11 at the time when Jackson became infatuated with her. Murray made the sensational revelation in a tell-all book called, This Is It.
According to him, Jackson’s first choice of bride was goddaughter Harriet. “I remembered saying to him in Trinidad and Tobago I’m familiar with some prearranged marriages, especially in the Hindu faith, but I don’t think it’s allowed for ages that young,” Murray writes. But he says Jackson was willing to move on from Harriet to Watson. “Michael told me he was almost as consumed with the British actress. He had ‘fallen in love with her’ when she was in her first Harry Potter film in 2001, when she was just 11,” the 63-year-old wrote.
