Singer Rita Ora has been replaced with model Tyra Banks as the host of the reality TV show America’s Next Top Model, just a year after she had left the role saying that she wanted to work on projects behind the camera. Tweeting on Thursday morning, Tyra had announced “I missed my ANTM baby so Mama’s back! Mizz @ritaora, you exemplify Business Boss Brand to the fullest! Thank you for all the amazingness you brought to ANTM (sic)”. Rita tweeted back “I love you!!! (sic)”.
Tyra had created the show in 2003, and the model was also announced to be the new host of America’s Got Talent for its upcoming season this year, replacing Nick Cannon who quit the show. Tyra said in a detailed statement, “After giving it a lot of thought, I realised that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.”
