Priyanka Chopra has been making waves world over ever since her show Quantico released. Now, it’s been officially confirmed that this talented lass will be starring in the Baywatch movie.
This news was confirmed by none other Dwayne Johnson, who shared a very interesting clip on Instagram, which went viral.
He captioned it, “She’s one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin’ and extremely dangerous — perfect for #BAYWATCH.
Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family. Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach. We start shooting next week.
In the clip, Johnson and Chopra exchange a rather interesting conversation. As Johnson says he has his hands full with the “beautiful Priyanka Chopra”, she replies that he has no idea. “She is mean,” is Johnson’s retort, to which Chopra says, “I am really mean.”
The Fast and the Furious star also took to Twitter and said, “She’s cool, but does bad even better. Can’t wait. #Baywatch.”
The actress herself took to Twitter to confirm that she will be playing a antagonist in Baywatch. She will be essaying the role of Victoria Leeds.
Baywatch is about Los Angeles county lifeguards who patrol the beaches of Los Angeles, and was on the most viewed TV shows globally.
Several Bollywood stars also congratulated the actress. Singer Mikha Singh wrote, “This girl is rocking back to back Bollywood to Hollywood. The super talented @priyankachopra Good luck for #Baywatch chakde fatte :)” .
