The model and actress, who dated rapper Sean Combs aka Diddy for 13 years, and had three children with him, was found dead at her home at the age of 47. Her death was confirmed to TMZ.com by Diddy’s rep. Cindi Berger, who told the site: “Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.” Law enforcement sources told the site they’d been called to Kim’s Toluca Lake home at around noon today. The call came in as she had suffered a cardiac arrest. Sources close to Kim said she’d been suffering flu-like symptoms and possible pneumonia for several weeks, but it was still unclear exactly what had caused her death. Another source said that Kim had contacted her doctor to complain that she wasn’t feeling any better. Homicide detectives are at the scene of 10300 of Woodridge, conducting a death investigation of a female to determine if there is any foul play involved.
They eventually ruled out any foul play. According to NBC, Kim was found dead in her bed.
