Mumbai: The makers have released the first poster of the highly anticipated DC superhero film 'Aquaman'. The upcoming film will be the sixth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
Based on the DC Comics character of the same name, 'Aquaman' features Jason Momoa in the titular role. The first official teaser poster has Momoa as Arthur Curry in the center, surrounded by sharks, whales and dolphins.
James Wan, who has famously helmed projects like 'The Conjuring', 'Insidious' and 'Furious 7', shared the poster of upcoming film and also announced that the trailer will be out on July 21. "Here’s the teaser one-sheet poster for #Aquaman!! In theaters December 21. Watch the first trailer this Saturday. “Home is Calling”," the tweet read.
Wan also posted an image on Instagram which features the filmmaker putting the final touches on the trailer. The footage will make its official debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 this weekend.
The film also stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles. Directed by James Wan, 'Aquaman' is slated to release on December 21....
