Heather Locklear returns to rehab

Locklear’s wellwishers are hopeful that this time “will be different”.

As per a report published by E! News, the Melrose Place star Heather Locklear has returned to rehab six months after being placed on a psychiatric hold.

According to People, the actress has been in a private in-patient facility for about two weeks now and her issue is “alcohol, pills, and her mental health”. The publication also reported that this rehab centre is apparently the same as the one that she had checked into previously, but “left for three days right before Christmas and never gone back” to.

Locklear’s wellwishers are hopeful that this time “will be different”.

A source had apparently reported to E! News in November that Locklear’s loved ones were “very concerned” for she had promised never to “let this happen to her again but eventually slipped.” She was thereby put on a psychiatric hold in November after her therapists and lawyer reportedly confirmed that she was having a breakdown.

Heather’s last upload on Instagram was on April 29, wherein she said, “Addiction is a ferocious and will try to take you down. Recovery is the best revenge.”
