Dwayne Johnson welcomes Priyanka Chopra to his badass Baywatch family
After months of speculations, it's official that Priyanka Chopra is the newest addition to the 'Baywatch' movie cast.
According to reports, she will be be playing the role of oil tycoon Victoria Leeds, the film's official villain. She’ll be star alongside Dwayne Johnson famously know as The Rock and Zac Efron. The film directed by Seth Gordon will go on floors next week and is slated to release in May 2017.
Johnson made the official announcement by posting an Instagram video with Chopra. He wrote, "She's one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin' and extremely dangerous - perfect for #BAYWATCH. Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family. Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach. We start shooting next week. World.. #WelcomeToBaywatch"

'Being bad is what I do', Priyanka wrote on Instagram while confirming the news.
'Baywatch' is a big-screen adaptation of the popular 1990s TV series of the same name. It revolves around the leader of an elite group of lifeguards, played by Johnson, who is forced to team up with Efron's young former Olympian character in order to save the beloved bay.
