Days after being spotted kissing her alleged new boyfriend The Weeknd, pop star Selena Gomez reportedly doesn’t believe she broke any rules of friendship with the latter’s ex Bella Hadid — because they weren’t friends to begin with.
Sources told TMZ.com that Selena doesn’t believe she went behind Bella’s back, since she’s only best friends with Taylor Swift (their squad ‘leader’) and that Bella and her sister Gigi were only “acquaintances”.
Meanwhile, Bella posted a photo of herself showing the middle finger to the paparazzi on Instagram, in apparent retaliation to the Selena-Weeknd romance news.
As for the relationship, the sources say the two began hanging out just before Christmas but didn’t celebrate the holiday together, and that they aren’t serious just yet.
