Amber Heard says she wants a permanent restraint, not money, from Johnny Depp. The 30-year-old actress reportedly withdrew her request for temporary spousal support after she was accused that her domestic violence claims were for monetary reasons.
Amber said that she filed spousal support only because she thought it was a standard procedure in a divorce. She said that Depp’s team is using it against her, “It is being used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence,” she said in a statement.
Despite this new development, Heard isn’t withdrawing her request for spousal support completely. She still reserves the right to request financial support from her spouse after the restraining order issue is handled, TMZ reports. Meanwhile, Heard’s representatives recently called the police because Depp’s aides reportedly raided the former couple’s home, and violated the court order.
