Pop star Lady Gaga, who will be performing an eight-minute tribute to late music legend David Bowie at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards on Monday, has gotten a tattoo of the singer to commemorate her love for David.
Sharing a series of photos and videos on Snapchat of herself getting the ink, she captioned them, “It begins,” and “This was the image that changed my life.” The tattoo is of David Bowie as his glamorous alter ego Ziggy Stardust.
Before his death, Gaga had said of Bowie in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, “When I fell in love with David Bowie... I always felt that his glamour was something he was using to express a message to people that was very healing for their souls.”
