One Direction’s Liam Payne is all set to give his fans around the world a glimpse
of himself in virtual reality, reports JustJared.com. The pop-star will be performing a concert for London-based music startup MelodyVR’s first virtual reality live broadcast.
Fans across the world can watch the concert using an Oculus Go or Samsung GearVR headset with the MelodyVR app. Viewers can switch between multiple view points throughout the interactive performance.
Liam in an official statement said, “I can’t wait for this show. For those who are going to be there on the night, it’s going to be amazing … but the fact there will be people from right across the globe watching the live stream via MelodyVR makes it extra special (sic).”
