According to reports on JustJared.com, the 44-year-old actor accepted the award for best original music at Sunday’s London award show for his directorial debut A Star Is Born.
“Well, I got to fulfill a dream that I thought would never happen: to compose and arrange music and I got to do it with the greatest musicians in the world, Lady Gaga and Lukas Nelson, who I share this with tonight,” Cooper said on-stage, adding, “Most of all I have to thank Irina, for putting up with me for all the music I was trying to make in our basement for a year. Thank you very much.”
