Drake’s showing up on Sunday night as the surprise headliner at rapper Tyler, the Creator’s “Camp Flog Gnaw” festival in Los Angeles didn’t really go off as expected.
As soon as he took the stage at the festival, the Canadian rapper began getting booed off the stage. Worse still, videos began making rounds on social media of the, well, booing! In videos on social media, says Eonline, the rapper is heard telling the crowd, “Like I said… I’m here for you [...] if you want me to keep going, I’ll keep going.” But the crowd didn’t seem to care.
Unperturbed, as if, Drake chose to take to Instagram to address the fiasco instead. “Plot twist... just signed a 10 year residency at Camp Flog Gnaw sorry kids see you EVERY SINGLE YEAR till you are 30,” joked the rapper.
When life gives you lemons, you make a punch(line) of it, as does Drake!
Apparently, the “kids” were hoping to see Frank Ocean as the mystery headliner.
