The audience were shocked to see singer Janet Jackson break down in tears onstage at her concert on Saturday. The otherwise joyful concert of her world tour had one emotionally charged moment when Janet sang What About, a song which was about domestic violence. The lyrics read “What about all the s**t you’ve done to me? / What about the times you hit my face? / What about the times you kept on when I said no more, please? ”
E! News reported that after the song, she covered her face with one hand and sobbed for a few seconds. The 51-year-old pop star gave birth to her first child, son Eissa, more than nine months ago. She is currently in the process of divorcing his father, Wissam Al Mana, her husband of five years.
