Jackson Odell, known for his role as Ari Cadwell on the comedy series The Goldbergs has died at age 20, reports EOnline.com. The actor and singer-songwriter was found unresponsive on Friday at a residence in Los Angeles. The autopsy is pending and the cause of death hasn’t been confirmed.
His family released a statement on his Twitter page saying, “The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell, on Friday. He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew and loved him does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately. We will not be making any more statements (sic).”
Apart from The Goldbergs, Odell acted for roles in shows like iCarly, Private Practice, Modern Family, Arrested Development and The Fosters. Odell had also recently started posting videos of him performing covers of popular artists and their hits. He had also penned original tracks for the 2018 film Forever My Girl, including the hit, Wings of an Angel.
