After the actress complained about a racist attack, supermarket issues a statement.

Days after Zendaya claimed that she was at the receiving end of a racist attack at a supermarket, the chain of stores has now issued an apology. The supermarket released a statement that read, “There is a policy that limits gift card purchases using a credit card. Zendaya was able to purchase gift cards up to our limit, and we apologise for any inconvenience or misunderstanding,” reported Dailymail.co.uk.
This is the second time that the actress has been embroiled in a racial controversy. The last time it happened was in 2015 when TV host Giuliana Rancic at an awards function, said that Zendaya looked like she smelled of weed just because she had dreadlocks.
