Robert Pattinson on being famous
The 31-year-old actor used to ride in trunks of cars to avoid being seen, or trade outfits with his friends.
Robert Pattinson is on the cover of GQ’s September issue. Talking to the magazine, the Good Time actor revealed that after he became famous due to the Twilight series, he took extreme measures to evade paparazzi.
According to ETOnline.com, Rob said that he would ride in trunks of cars to avoid being seen, or trade outfits with his friends in restaurant bathrooms and have them each call cabs in different directions so that photographers wouldn’t know which car he got into. “People were like, ‘It’s fine, who cares? They’re just photos or whatever.’ They’ll say, ‘Just live your life.’ But that’s not life for me, if someone’s observing it,” Rob told the magazine.
