Sources say the case of assault against his son will be dropped since it's going nowhere

After being accused of assaulting his own son on an aeroplane, Brad Pitt will reportedly not be prosecuted by the FBI for the case — which came up after the high-profile announcement of his divorce from Angelina Jolie. TMZ.com’s sources say that the bureau is still “fact-gathering” for the case, and refuses to call it an investigation, adding that the case is “going nowhere”. Brad had been accused of assaulting his son Maddox on a private jet, but witnesses have said that Brad had only inadvertently hit him, with Maddox suffering no injuries.
