In an interesting development, singer songwriter John Mayer flirted with Anaconda rapper Nicki Minaj on Twitter. The Who You Love singer tweeted on Friday night, “I spend an inordinate amount of time per day wondering if Nicki Minaj would like me or not.”
While Mayer’s 1.12 million followers and Nicki’s 21.1 million followers were taken by surprise, someone from the latter’s team alerted her about the tweet.
Referring to Mayer’s hit Your Body Is A Wonderland, she soon replied, “Would my body be your wonderland?” She followed it by the tweet, “Asking for a friend.”
Mayer replied, “Please hold, losing my sh*t. This isn’t my reply yet.” Since no other tweets followed after this, we wonder if they continued the conversation in private.
