It was an incredibly sad day for the cast and crew of the HBO series True Blood as one of the lead characters, Nelsan Ellis, aged 39, passed away on Saturday. The unfortunate incident occurred due to complications from heart failure.
Nelsan, who plays Lafayette Reynolds in True Blood, also appeared in The Help, Elementary, and even played Martin Luther King, Jr. in The Butler. The cast of True Blood took to Twitter to extend their condolences.
