She had requested the public for $6000 but as of Friday, she had raised only $400.
The beauty enthusiast, who posts make-up tips and tricks, was flabbergasted to see that on the same day, she received a huge donation of the remaining $5,600, from none other than Chrissy Teigen herself! Chrissy had also left her a message on the crowdfunding website saying, “I’ve seen this be your passion for such a long time now. So excited to see you fulfill your dream!” Post this event, Mercedes took to Instagram to voice her happiness for what the supermodel did for her. Mercedes also mentioned that she could not stop crying all day.
