According to court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court that were obtained by People.com, the company believes that they are under no obligation to defend the singer in his current lawsuits or the ones that may come up in the future, and is asking the court to let them walk away from his case.
The company has begun defending him in the case until a judge rules, and is asking to be reimbursed for any expenses they incur meanwhile.
