The star cast for Disney’s upcoming live action The Little Mermaid has received quite the hype in the last few days. Amidst angered fans asking for a re-cast for Ariel’s roll actor Terry Crews has a plan of his own. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star began a petition aimed at getting him a part in the upcoming production. As reported by www.toofab.com Terry photo-shopped an image of his buff torso atop and a merman tail with a trident, captioning it: “Ariel’s Dad!!!!”
Crew’s post followed the much talked about casting of Halle Bailey as Ariel. The studio posted their choice of casting for Ariel on social media, welcoming Halle’s talent for their upcoming production.
Fans of the Terry loved the idea of him playing Ariel’s father and showed their support for the actor’s photo-shopped image.
