Kodak Black regrets his rude words

His remarks caused great backlash among fans and artists, including Tank and T.I. and The Game.

Kodak Black is apologising after causing controversy for his comments about the late Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend, Lauren London.

“Lauren London, that’s baby, though. She about to be out here single. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and s—t for him. I ain’t trying to shoot (my shot) at her. I’m saying, listen. She can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like the friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line (sic),” Kodak said during a broadcast, reports TMZ.com.

His remarks caused great backlash among fans and artists, including Tank and T.I. and The Game. Radio stations also pledged not to play his music in solidarity against his comments. Kodak later returned to Instagram Live to apologise. “If I disrespected you Lauren London, in any shape or form, I’m sorry. Even though I didn’t. And rest in peace to Nipsey (sic),” he said, adding, “My bad, so don’t shoot. If I disrespected Lauren London in any way even though I know I didn’t, my bad. My bad (sic).”
