Singer and American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has revealed in an interview that that last time she worked with music producer Dr Luke — who has been accused of drugging and raping another musician Kesha — she was blackmailed into doing so.
Speaking to a radio station in Australia, Kelly said, “The last time I worked with him I only worked with him because literally I got blackmailed by my label. They were like, ‘We will not put you’re label out if you don’t do this.’ We have a whole crew to support... people that depend on us for their livelihood so sometimes you have to make decisions that you just have to swallow that pill.” However, she also pointed out that she can’t comment about Kesha’s allegations because Dr Luke “never did anything like that” to her.
