Kim Kardashian believes that a new Instagram feature — where the likes and view counts of photos and videos are hidden from your followers — would actually be beneficial for mental health. “Taking the likes away from Instagram would be really beneficial for people,” says the 39-year-old KKW beauty mogul.

People reports that while the mother of four doesn’t personally struggle with mental health issues related to Instagram likes, she believes that the feature will help many others who do.

“I find myself to be extremely mentally strong but I have people who are obsessed with the comments, and I find that to be really unhealthy,” she explains, adding that she would really be affected if any of her loved ones got affected by the comments.

Discussing her approach to posting on Instagram, she adds, “It is tricky and when I raise my kids, I think about screen time, phone time, what to post, even what not to post.”

Interestingly, mental health has become an incredibly important conversation for Kim K, who launched her first Facebook fundraiser in 2018 towards changing the lives of kids with mental health issues or learning difficulties. “As a mother of three, nothing is more important than my children's health. This includes their physical and mental health,” she wrote.
