'I'd punch his face': Robert De Niro goes ballistic chastising Donald Trump
Mumbai: Robert De niro, who's been a staunch critic of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the US, has lashed out once again at the billionaire.
"I mean he's so blatantly stupid... He's a punk, a dog..., he's a pig, he's a con, a moth who doesn't know what he's talking about," De Niro blasts out.
The 'Godfather' actor, visibly furious at the very existence of Trump in the race for presidency, was in no mood to stop, as he further elaborated, "Colin Powell [former secretary of state] said it best: he's a national disaster. He’s an embarrassment to this country. It makes me so angry this country has gotten to this point that this fool, this bozo, has wound up where he has."
In the video, recorded in a campaign intended at urging people to initiate and get out to vote, Robert then goes all out with his criticism, saying, “He talks how he'd like to punch people in the face?... Well, I'd like to punch him in the face.”
“This is somebody that we want for president? I don’t think so. What I care about is the direction of this country and what I’m very, very worried about is that it might go in the wrong direction with someone like Donald Trump. If you care about your future, vote for it,” the immensely revered actor concluded.
