A day after Saoirse Kennedy Hill was laid to rest, following a suspected overdose last week, Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Maria Shriver whose mother was a member of the Kennedy family, paid an emotional tribute to her family in an Instagram post.
According to People, in the post, Katherine praised her relatives for being “loving, supportive, and strong.”
“After wiping away the tears, after the beautiful sunsets, there is always a new day,” she wrote, captioning her post. “It’s not the big events or pretty things that hold you up at the end of the day, it’s family.”
Others in the immediate Kennedy family had sent their condolences shortly after news broke that Saoirse, the only child of Courtney Kennedy Hill and Paul Hill, had sadly died at the age of 22. “The world is a little less beautiful today,” Ethel said of her granddaughter.
The toxicology report on Saoirse’s cause of death and if it was accidental is pending.
