Passengers actor Chris Pratt and Mom actress Anna Faris have decided to part ways, after eight years of marriage. The pair have one son together.
“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” Chris wrote on Facebook on Monday.
A source told People.com that Anna seemed unhappy while Pratt was away filming. With rumours of their break-up doing the rounds over the past one year, in an episode of her podcast in December, the actress opened up about her relationship with Chris. “I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris, but having said that, of course in this crazy world where he’s off doing movies and I’m in LA raising our child, of course I’m going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would,” she said on the show.
Just in April this year, Chris revealed that he loves Anna as she joined him for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’s press tour.
