Afton Williamson, who played training officer Talia Bishop in the Season 1 of ABC’s The Rookie, has identified those who harassed her on the sets.
Afton recently had announced that she’d be quitting the show as her complaints of harassment were largely ignored. But according to Justjared, the actress took to her Instagram to call out the sexual abuse by a guest star, discrimination in the hair department and bullying from executive producers.
“This season on The Rookie, I was sexually harassed by fellow actor Demetrius Grosse. I was Racially Bullied and Discriminated against and Sexually Assaulted by Hair Department Head Sally Nicole Ciganovich (sic),” Afton wrote on her Instagram. She added a thank you note for her fans.
“I am so beyond overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, kind words, scriptures, strength filled quotes and devout support that has come my way,” her message read. ABC has since responded stating they’re investigating the matter.
